CET Exam Date 2026: Identify the Exam Before the Date

“CET exam date” looks like a request for one date. The official Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell’s 2026 schedule shows why that shortcut fails: it lists multiple CET examinations and separates MHT-CET by group.

What date does MHT-CET 2026 actually use?

For MHT-CET 2026, the official final schedule gives these first-attempt windows:

The later public notice gives the second attempt separately:

Second	PCB	10–11 May 2026

These are not interchangeable labels. PCM and PCB are separate rows in the official schedule, and the second-attempt notice adds another distinction. Reading the whole period as “the CET date” would erase the group and attempt that make the date meaningful.

Why the search phrase needs one more question

The useful question is not simply “What is the CET exam date?” It is: Which exam, which group, and which attempt? That small change prevents an MHT-CET date from being treated as a universal date for every exam called CET.

The official schedule also separates the first-attempt calendar from the later second-attempt notice. The document and notice therefore matter—not just a date copied from a search snippet. For a date check, match the exam name to MHT-CET, then match PCM/PCB and first/second attempt before using one of the windows above.

The answer in one line

For MHT-CET 2026, the first attempt is 11–20 April for PCM and 21–26 April for PCB. The second attempt is 10–11 May for PCB, while PCM runs from 12–21 May except 16–17 May, according to the later official notice. There is no single MHT-CET date that covers every group and attempt—and “CET exam date” by itself is not specific enough to produce one.
