What does “GTA 5 LIVE” actually mean?
The official pages distinguish a game from a broadcast. PlayStation India’s GTA V listing presents the product as Grand Theft Auto V with Story Mode and GTA Online. YouTube’s live-streaming guide treats live as a delivery method, listing mobile, webcam, encoder and game-console streaming.
That makes “GTA 5 LIVE” a description of an on-air GTA V gameplay broadcast, not a separate edition identified by these official pages. The distinction matters: the game determines what is being played, while YouTube determines whether and how it can be broadcast.
What does the India PlayStation page confirm?
For PS4 and PS5, the India listing includes both Story Mode and GTA Online. It also says online play requires PlayStation Plus. Those statements belong to the PlayStation listing’s platform context. They do not turn the word “LIVE” into a game mode or identify which mode a creator has chosen to show.
This is the first useful filter when reading a live title: “GTA 5” identifies the game family, but it does not by itself answer whether the stream is Story Mode or GTA Online, which platform is being used, or how the broadcast is being sent.
Is 50 subscribers a GTA 5 requirement?
No. It is a YouTube route condition, not a GTA rule.

- Broadcast layer: Is the stream coming from a phone, console, webcam or encoder? Apply YouTube’s general eligibility rules, then the instructions for that route. For an encoder, YouTube says the connection uses a stream URL and stream key.
The practical conclusion is simple: “GTA 5 LIVE” tells a viewer that a GTA V broadcast is happening; it does not settle access, platform, game mode or YouTube eligibility. Keeping those layers separate prevents a mobile-only YouTube condition from being mistaken for a GTA 5 rule.
