Should You Pre-order Apple HomeView in India?
Apple HomeView looks suitable for households using compatible Apple Home accessories, but buyers should confirm setup and installation requirements first.
For an Indian household, pre-order Apple HomeView only if it already has compatible accessories in Apple Home and can meet Apple’s setup and power requirements. Apple India currently lists it at ₹39,900 inclusive of taxes, with pre-orders open and availability from 13 November 2026. Price and availability may change.
Apple describes HomeView as a 7-inch shared smart-home display for controlling compatible Home accessories, alongside entertainment, FaceTime, Siri and personalised household content. Smart-home control depends on compatible accessories managed in Apple Home, so its value is closely tied to the household’s existing setup.
Before buying, prepare a compatible iPhone or iPad, Apple Account, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and Resident (Owner) status in the Home app. The standard HomeView needs at least a 30W USB-C power adapter. The wall-mounted version needs at least 20W, plus separate mounting and power hardware. If these checks pass, the current Apple India listing supports pre-ordering; otherwise, confirm compatibility and installation needs first.
