Why I looked this up

I wanted to establish what ‘Chhathi Maiya’ from The Vvaan actually referred to, without treating a promotional video title as a complete credit sheet. While looking for primary listings, I also encountered ‘CHHATHI MAIYA BULAYE’, credited to Vishal Mishra and Kaushal Kishore.

That gave me a practical question: what should I check to avoid confusing the two listings?

What I could establish

Vishal Mishra’s website places ‘Chhathi Maiya’ under The Vvaan in its latest-release section. It identifies Mishra as singer and composer and names Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra as featuring in the release.

His Spotify artist catalogue separately lists ‘Chhathi Maiya (From “The Vvaan”)’. For identifying the song, that film qualifier is the useful detail: it connects the title explicitly to the film rather than relying on the artist’s name alone.

I would keep the credit claims modest. The artist website also contains visible template material, so I would not treat every element on it as a polished release announcement. The Spotify listing supports the title-and-film connection; it does not, by itself, verify every production credit.

My takeaway is narrower: the full release title, especially the film qualifier, matters more here than a matching artist name.
