Why I looked this up

I came across the search phrase “भारतीय महिला बनाम बांग्लादेश महिला” and wanted to know which India Women–Bangladesh Women match it referred to. Was I looking at a result, a forthcoming fixture, or something genuinely live?

I went through BCCI’s published records rather than treating the search phrase as confirmation. The distinction mattered: the women’s World Cup fixture and a separate September tour announcement were not interchangeable evidence.

What I could verify

BCCI’s women’s squad announcement, dated 2 May 2026, lists India against Bangladesh in Manchester on 25 June 2026 in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup schedule.

The separate BCCI match report published on 25 June 2026 records a completed match at Old Trafford:

The player names made me curious too

I also wanted to understand the references to Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and Shafali Verma without assuming that every familiar name had a major innings.

The match report records Mandhana scoring 8, Harmanpreet finishing on 13 not out, and Shafali making 53. It also lists Radha Yadav’s 3/28 and Sree Charani’s 2/21.

That changed what I would take away from this particular match: Shafali’s player-of-the-match performance belongs alongside the bowling figures, rather than letting the names in a search query determine the story. I’m drawing that distinction from the report, not from having watched the game.

How I would judge a “live” result

My own checking order is team category → competition → date → match status. Here is how that applies to the pages I found:

The month matches my hypothetical search; the necessary team-category and fixture confirmation do not. I therefore would not use that notice to choose a day to watch. Conversely, the women’s match report identifies the right teams but describes a completed June encounter, so it cannot serve as a live listing either.

What remains unanswered

These sources answered my result question, not my live-viewing question. I have not established a current September women’s fixture, an IST start time or an India streaming service from them, so I’m not adding any of those details.

For me, the useful finding was not merely the score. It was learning to keep a completed women’s World Cup match separate from a tour announcement whose wording does not confirm the women’s fixture I was searching for.
